In the introduction to the course, Identity and Ideology, you have explored the extent to which ideologies exist on a spectrum of worldviews. Collective interests are balanced with Individual values. Societies have many reasons for promoting one way of thinking over another.
As you worked through this introduction, you examined the effects of beliefs and values on who you are and how you view the world. Many factors influence your collective and individual beliefs and values. Your beliefs and values contribute to the forming of your ideology.
