Discussion Post - Who would agree and disagree?

Introduction

Discussion posts will be used in this course to allow you to state your ideas and also to see the ideas of your classmates. By making your learning visible, your responses will get better as you consider different perspectives that you may not have thought about. Once you have posted a discussion response, you may go back and add to it or post again after looking at the responses of others.

Instructions

1. Open a Google or Word doc and answer the question below in reference to each source (scroll down to view sources).
   
   

   Question

   Who would agree and who would disagree with the following sources? Consider Philosophers, Governments of the Nation States, Collectives/Groups, Political Parties, and your knowledge of Social Studies.

2. Your answer should be in paragraph form. and no more than 600 words.
3. Use proper spelling and capitalization.
4. Once you have completed the submission steps below, you may go back and add to your response or post again after looking at the responses of others.

Submission

For this task, you will be posting it in two locations: Assignments and Discussions.

1. Go to Assignments and submit your response to the folder "Assignment - Unit 1: Who would agree and disagree"
2. Go to "Discussions" on the navbar
3. Go to the forum "Class Discussions"
4. Click the Discussion Topic called "Unit 1: Who would agree and disagree?"
5. Click the button "Start a New Thread"
6. Copy and paste the text from your Word doc or Google doc and then click "Post"

Your discussion post and responses will be evaluated using the rubric below which is also attached to the discussion post. You will not receive a grade or feedback on the assignment folder however that is where you'll see the Turnitin score for your work.
